Job Details: Command Technology is looking to hire experienced Systems Engineers with software and system integration experience to join our team of experts working to support the Global Combat Support System (GCSS) in its evolution to Net-Centric Architecture. Command Tech is a leading supplier of COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) products currently being used in many functional areas to support this effort.The successful candidate will be expected to contribute superior understanding of the evolving world of GCSS architecture. They will be evaluating requirements and changes to architecture as well as determining the impact of these changes on Command Techs existing product lines, especially in the areas of interoperability, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability, as well as assessing future business opportunities.The following skills are important to be successful in this position: strong planning, organizing, coordinating, and customer interface capability; proficiency in developing technical documentation, reports, and presentations; confidence in making technical presentations; and resolving technical issues and conflicts in a positive manner.Those who possess the following experience are strongly preferred:Agile development processes, J2EE app server (e.g., JBOSS, BEA Weblogic), databases (e.g., Oracle or MySQL), SQL, DISAs net-centric initiatives, NCES, GIG, SSL, PKI, web services security, continuous integration, UML, and MS Office Products. Experience in documenting software system design and architecture. Experience with networking and enterprise system/application security. Familiarity with Vignette, MetaMatrix and WebFocus is desirable.
