Job Description

    As a member of the restaurant management team at Marriott International, your role involves assisting in the daily supervision of restaurant operations and ensuring guest and employee satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include handling employee questions and concerns, monitoring performance, and providing feedback based on service behaviors. You will also be responsible for supervising daily shift operations, ensuring compliance with restaurant policies and procedures, and managing to achieve budgeted goals.Key Responsibilities:- Handle employee questions and concerns- Monitor employees to ensure performance expectations are met- Provide feedback to employees based on service behaviors- Supervise daily shift operations- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and procedures- Manage to achieve or exceed budgeted goals- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels- Encourage employees to provide excellent customer service- Handle guest problems and complaints- Supervise staffing levels to ensure guest service and financial objectives are metQualifications Required:- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional areaOR- 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional areaIn addition to your core work activities, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, conducting human resource activities such as training initiatives and performance evaluations, and assisting servers and hosts during meal periods and high demand times.
