Job Description

    As an Automation Testing Engineer at our company, your role will involve designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to create robust automated testing frameworks. Here are the key responsibilities you will be handling:- Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Utilize tools like Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, and Java to create efficient automated test cases for web applications.- Cross-Browser and Cross-Platform Testing: Conduct and manage automated tests on various browsers and real devices using BrowserStack to ensure consistent user experiences across different environments.- Collaborate with Development and QA Teams: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Jenkins) in close collaboration with developers, ensuring seamless automation throughout the software development lifecycle.- Test Execution and Result Analysis: Run automated test cases, identify defects, and provide feedback to development teams based on detailed analysis of test results.- Automation Framework Development: Create and maintain modular, reusable automation frameworks integrated with Playwright or Selenium.- Continuous Improvement: Research and implement new automation tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance testing efficiency and quality.- Code Reviews and Testability: Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and provide feedback on testability, automation strategies, and process improvements.- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare clear documentation for test plans, cases, and results. Offer regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.- Defect Tracking and Resolution: Report defects, track issues, and collaborate with the development team to resolve them promptly.Qualifications required for this role include:- Degree in BE, B.Tech, MCA, or MSc IT.- 6 months to 2 years of experience in Automation Testing or similar roles.- Hands-on experience in developing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and TestNG.- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar automation frameworks.- Familiarity with BrowserStack or similar platforms for real-device and cross-browser testing.- Experience with version control systems like Git.- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for automation frameworks and test scripts.- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.Preferred skills for this role include experience in performance testing, modern web automation, familiarity with BDD/TDD methodologies, knowledge of API testing tools, experience in Agile/Scrum environments, and exposure to DevOps practices.If youre passionate about automation testing and have the required qualifications, we offer competitive salary packages, comprehensive health insurance, opportunities for career advancement, and a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
