Job Description

    Role Overview:As an Assistant / Deputy Manager - NWC at Schindler India, your main responsibility will revolve around having complete knowledge of Net Working Capital and Credit Control from Order to Cash. You will be required to manage internal stakeholders effectively to keep Accounts Receivable in control. Additionally, you will be responsible for traveling to customer places frequently with stakeholders to resolve reconciliation matters for accounts and key account customers. Your proactive approach will involve making calls to predefined customers to identify potential issues early on and setting collection priorities based on customer risk profiles.Key Responsibilities:- Possess complete knowledge of Net Working Capital and Credit Control processes- Manage internal stakeholders effectively for Accounts Receivable control- Travel to customer places frequently to resolve reconciliation matters- Make proactive calls to predefined customers to identify potential issues early- Set collection priorities based on customer risk profiles- Ensure customers are part of the automated dunning run- Maintain up-to-date reconciliations and handle write-offs as part of monthly activities- Have detailed knowledge of Indian Direct and Indirect taxes- Handle legal matters related to collection of outstanding amounts- Provide remittance advice to the cash application teamQualifications Required:- MBA in finance, accounting, or a related discipline- 4 or more years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in credit/collections, Direct & Indirect Taxation- Excellent credit skills with risk assessment abilities- Fluency in English with proficiency in local language- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills- Good organizational and problem-solving skills- Goal-oriented and motivated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills for effective communication with internal and external customers- Proficiency in Excel and SAPAdditional Company Details:Schindler India, a 100% owned subsidiary of Schindler Group, is headquartered in Mumbai and supported by over 5000 employees across the country.
