Job Description

    As a Cybersecurity & DevOps Engineer at GMIndia Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in implementing security measures to safeguard systems and data, monitoring network traffic for any suspicious activity, and supporting risk assessment processes. You will also contribute to the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform or Ansible, and manage cloud-based environments. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with security standards, collaborating with development and QA teams, and resolving technical issues to enable secure and efficient deployments.To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, DevOps methodologies, Linux/Unix, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Git, and scripting languages (Bash/Python) is essential. Strong analytical skills, a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work collaboratively are key attributes for success in this position.While not mandatory, certifications such as CompTIA Security, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals are considered advantageous. Exposure to tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, or similar technologies, as well as previous internship or college projects related to security or DevOps, are also desirable.At GMIndia Pvt.
