Job Description

    As a Supervisor in the Food & Beverage department at Marriott International, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operations of the kitchen and delivering high-quality food to guests. Your responsibilities will include:- Supervising and coordinating activities of cooks and workers to ensure efficient food preparation and service.- Determining how food should be presented and creating decorative food displays.- Ensuring proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to be served.- Monitoring the quantity of food prepared and informing staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items.- Assisting in preparing special meals or substitute items as needed.- Providing necessary items to cooks and kitchen staff.- Monitoring stock of kitchen supplies and food, maintaining kitchen logs for food safety program.- Ensuring the quality of food items and notifying managers of any discrepancies.You will also be responsible for assisting management in various HR functions such as hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees. Your role will involve enforcing company policies and safety procedures, reporting any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions, and ensuring a professional appearance and conduct at all times.Qualifications Required:- Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.- Related Work Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.- Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.At Marriott International, diversity and inclusion are core values.
