Finance & Accounts Manager

Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced F&A Manager to join our growing copper tube manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will take charge of the financial management, including finalization of accounts, statutory compliance, internal and external audits, MIS, and banking and insurance management. Experience with GST and working of audit handling experience with big four audit firms is preferred.Key Responsibilities:1. Finalization of Accounts:o Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.o Preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.2. Statutory Compliance:o Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, Income Tax, TDS, Banking etc.).o Oversee all statutory filings and maintain compliance with local laws and regulations.3. Audit Management:o Coordinate and manage internal audits, ensuring timely completion and implementation of corrective actions.o Liaise with external auditors, particularly from big four firms, to ensure smooth and accurate audit processes.o Prepare the Financials and handling of the audit queries at initial stage 4. Banking and Insurance:o Manage banking relationships, oversee the bank reconciliation with the team, LC discounting control, correspondence with the bank personal, submission of monthly/quarterly requirement o Handling of CC/OD bank accounts with multiple banking o Oversee the companys insurance policies, including risk management and claims processing.5. Taxation & GST:o Manage all GST-related activities, including filing, reconciliations, and audits.o Stay updated with GST amendments and ensure compliance.6. Financial Planning and Analysis:o Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.o Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide financial strategies.7. Team Leadership:o Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring development and compliance with financial policies.o Ability to handle high-volume transactions and multitask, ability to manage the team of 5-6 person.Qualifications and Experience: Education: Chartered Accountant Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role. Experience in the manufacturing sector is mandate. Experience in Metal segment is preferred. Audit Exposure: Prior experience of handling of audit with big four audit firms is highly preferred. Skills:o Strong knowledge of statutory laws and regulations (GST, Income Tax, etc.).o Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.o Ability to handle high-volume transactions and multitask.
