Job Description

    Head of Operations - Gas Compression DivisionOverview:Our client, a leader in the gas compression industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Operations to manage and oversee the Gas Compression Division. This is a senior leadership role with a focus on operational efficiency, safety, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have indepth expertise in gas compression operations, including equipment procurement, commissioning, and optimizing large-scale projects.Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company objectives. Lead the end-to-end management of gas compression operations, ensuring safety and industry standards are met. Oversee equipment procurement and commissioning for large gas compression projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with broader business strategies. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvements. Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement within the operations team. Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies, clients, and suppliers. Manage budgets and resources efficiently to control costs and maximize profitability. Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies to enhance operational performance.Must-Have Selection Criteria: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector with a focus on gas compression. Proven track record in a senior leadership role, particularly in managing large-scale gas compression operations. Expertise in industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex data and drive operational efficiencies. Experience in equipment procurement, commissioning, and project management.Desired Candidate Profile: Experience in implementing innovative technologies in the gas compression sector. Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
