The primary function of this position is integration into immunization registries with VXU HL7 messages. This includes data analysis, data conflict resolution, interface configuration, report configuration, and defining custom integration parameters with a variety of Pharmacy Management Systems and vendors. This position involves working closely with Matrix customers and internal Matrix teams in a consulting and supportive technical role, on both an ongoing basis as well as on a project delivery basis. Documents services/solutions provided for project manager and client. A HL7 Integration specialist will provide technical recommendations to the company and customer. In-depth knowledge of health care integration standards - HL7, FHIR, IHE. HL7 version 2.5.1 and version 3 knowledge Building Interfaces Standardize Data Normalizing Data Transform Data Flat Files XML 3 years experience in integration development encompassing design, development, maintenance, support, and enhancement of applications. 3 years experience working with a commercial integration engine such as Mirth, Rhapsody, Corepoint, or Cloverleaf. Application development experience using Mirth strongly preferred. Experience with pharmacy information systems a plus. Knowledge of HL7, NCPDP, electronic health care systems, and X12 transactions is required. Knowledge of XML, SOAP, Rest, and JSON web services design and development. Strong English oral and written communication skills. Strong problem solving skills. Self-starter and able to work independently as well as on small teams, and be able to lead small teams. Ability to follow policies and procedures and department software development lifecycle.
