Job Description

The Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment used in various industries. They will work with a variety of tools and technologies, troubleshoot problems, and conduct tests to ensure equipment is operating correctly.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electronic control systems, instrumentation, and communications equipmentMaintain records of work performed and parts used using computer-based maintenance management systemsTest equipment for faults, diagnose problems, and replace or repair defective partsPerform periodic calibration of instruments and devicesProvide support to engineers and other professionals on projects and program implementationRead and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawingsComply with safety, health, and environmental procedures and regulations in the workplaceParticipate in continuing education and training to remain current with technological advancements
