Job Description

    You will be a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Analyst (QA) responsible for ensuring the quality of software products. Your main tasks will include developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and focusing on database testing. A solid understanding of software testing methodologies, strong analytical skills, and experience in manual and automated testing are essential for this role.Your responsibilities will include developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications. You will perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality, with a particular focus on database testing. This involves writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy. You will also be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.Collaboration with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios will be crucial. You will perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing while ensuring compliance with organizational software development and testing standards. Analyzing test results and providing detailed reports on software performance and issues will also be a part of your role.The required skills and qualifications include a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing is required, although freshers with strong knowledge are also encouraged to apply. You should have a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, database testing using SQL, and proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also important qualities for this role.,
