Job Description

    You will be a part of Valtech Mobility, a strategic business unit dedicated to improving mobility by developing cutting-edge connected vehicle technologies for global mobility providers and vehicle OEMs. You will join the global Connected Vehicle team, which is a hidden champion and pioneer in connected vehicle technology, providing various connected car services in infotainment, telematics, and V2X/Car2x to millions of vehicles worldwide.As a technical expert, you will have the opportunity to be part of the connected vehicle revolution and collaborate with international industry experts. You will work on challenging projects in a culture that values freedom and accountability. If you are passionate about taking responsibility for your work and have hands-on experience in building Java applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, along with a vision for designing scalable microservice architecture, then this role is for you.**Key Responsibilities:**- Hands-on experience in building Java applications using Java 8 (and above), Spring Boot, and Hibernate- Design scalable microservice architecture and implement design patterns- Experience with web technologies such as REST and Feign clients- Skilled in Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach- Knowledge in implementing and operating Kubernetes-based deployments- Experience working in agile teams with methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar- Willingness to invest in building domain knowledge and becoming a subject matter expert- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a globally distributed team**Qualifications Required:**- Hands-on experience in a Platform Engineering role- Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana- Firsthand experience in Kafka and specifically MQTT- Automation experience in software integration, testing, delivery, and deployment- Implementation experience on Cloud platform (AWS)- Understanding of security techniques including Firewalls/Security Groups, Threat Modelling, and Dependency ManagementAt Valtech, creating equitable workplaces is a priority to support the growth and goals of every individual.
