Job Description

    Job Title: PPC - Engineer Department: PPC Reports To: PPC Head Location: Bavla, AhmedabadKey Responsibilities
    • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer orders, forecasts, and internal goals.
    • Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to plans, adjusting schedules as necessary due to delays, equipment failure, or material shortages.
    • Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and production teams to ensure material availability and workflow efficiency.
    • Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
    • Ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production capacity.
    • Maintain accurate production records and reporting tools (ERP/MRP systems).
    • Participate in capacity planning, workforce scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with quality control teams to ensure output meets company and customer standards.
    • Prepare regular reports on production status, capacity utilization, and delivery timelines for management.
    • Support budgeting and cost control efforts related to production activities.
    Qualifications & Skills
    • Bachelors degree, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 2-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations control (House Hold Article manufacturing environment preferred).
    • Proficiency in SAP systems.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles is a plus.
    • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
