Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be responsible for teaching core subjects using Cambridge-aligned, inquiry-based approaches. For Grade 1 & 2, you will focus on fostering foundational literacy and numeracy skills through phonics and hands-on learning, conducting regular assessments, and maintaining student progress portfolios. Additionally, you will manage a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment and collaborate with peers in school events and training. For Grade 3 to 5, you will plan and deliver Cambridge-aligned lessons in Math, Science, and English, utilize inquiry-based strategies, hands-on activities, and cross-curricular integration. You will also conduct ongoing assessments, track student progress, maintain a positive classroom environment, collaborate with other educators, and contribute to school academic planning. Participation in professional development and school-wide events is also expected.Key Responsibilities:- Teach all core subjects using Cambridge-aligned, inquiry-based approaches- Foster foundational literacy and numeracy skills through phonics and hands-on learning- Conduct regular assessments and maintain student progress portfolios- Manage a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment- Collaborate with peers and participate in school events and training- Plan and deliver Cambridge-aligned lessons in Math, Science, and English- Use inquiry-based strategies, hands-on activities, and cross-curricular integration- Conduct ongoing assessments (formative & summative) and track student progress- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom- Collaborate with other educators and contribute to school academic planning- Participate in professional development and school-wide eventsQualification Required:- Bachelors degree in Education or relevant field- Teaching certification or license- Experience in teaching core subjects using Cambridge-aligned approaches- Strong communication and collaboration skills- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growthNote: The job type is Full-time, Permanent.
