Job Description

    As a Procurement Manager at our Biopharma site in Moraiya, you will be responsible for the procurement of biopharma ingredients for manufacturing for domestic and overseas regulated markets. Your key responsibilities will include:- Procuring biopharma ingredients (RM / PM / Consumables / media / filters / chemicals etc) for various departments such as R & D, Quality, Engineering, IT, HR, and Admin- Managing the supply of quality materials and services at the right price- Handling the PR > PO > GR > settlement cycle for an annual spend base of ~ Rs 1000 crore- Ensuring procurement and supply governance as per company policy and DOA norms- Mitigating supply risks and developing alternate vendors for cost excellence- Participating in annual budgets and tracking contract due dates for procurement strategy/negotiations- Managing imports, customs clearance, and key stakeholders through cross-functional collaboration- Proactively addressing concerns related to quality, delivery, cost, and complianceQualifications required:- Graduate / Postgraduate in Biotechnology / Pharmacy / Chemistry / Chemical Engineering- PGDMM / MBA in Pharma / Operations / Supply ChainExperience required:- 10 years in a similar role in a large size complex organizationSoft skills needed:- Creative mindset with team spirit- Strong communication and inter-personal abilities (oral/written)- Stakeholder management and collaboration skills- Proactive approach with problem-solving attitude- Process orientation and strong ethics- IT/Computer savvy with Excel/MS Office skills- Knowledge of ERP/SAP, Ariba, VendX, etc.This position reports to the Head of Purchase & Biopharma Site Head through matrix reporting and involves managing 6 to 8 direct reports.,
