Job Description

The Project Controls Manager will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting of a nuclear project in the UK. The role involves managing a team of project controls professionals and collaborating with stakeholders including project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project success.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the project controls plan and associated proceduresImplement and maintain the project schedule, including resource loading, critical path analysis, and progress monitoringManage project budgets, track costs, and prepare financial forecastsMonitor and manage project risks, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and opportunitiesEnsure accurate and timely project reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, cost reports, and risk registersLead and mentor a team of project controls professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunitiesCollaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project objectives are achieved within scope, schedule, and budget constraintsLiaise with clients and other stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment with project goalsEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and procedures, including nuclear safety and security requirements
