Job Description

    As a Design and Drafting professional, your primary responsibility will be to create detailed and general arrangement drawings for various elements such as layouts, interconnection diagrams, installation drawings, loop drawings, and block diagrams. Additionally, you will be tasked with producing design and fabrication drawings specifically for civil and structural components. It is crucial to develop E3D and SP3D models to ensure clash-free designs. Furthermore, preparing Material Take-Off (MTO) and Bill of Materials (BOM) using MS Excel will be a part of your routine tasks.In the realm of Structural Detailing, your proficiency will be put to the test as you work on detailing structural connections and welds. Your role will also involve producing structural calculations to guarantee that structures can withstand various loading scenarios.Your Software Proficiency will be key in this role, as you are expected to be competent in using E3D and SP3D software. It is essential to maintain AutoCAD files accurately to support project requirements.Adhering to Compliance and Standards is pivotal in this position. You must follow relevant procedures, departmental working instructions, and guidelines diligently. Ensuring compliance with applicable standards and codes in structural design is a non-negotiable. Performing 3D model clash checking and resolving clashes promptly will be a part of your routine tasks.Collaboration is a significant aspect of this role. Working harmoniously with other disciplines is crucial to ensuring the overall success of the project.Problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you identify shortcomings in current design methods and propose effective remedies.In terms of Skills and Qualifications, a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required. You should possess 8 to 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, focusing on civil and structural design. Proficiency in E3D and SP3D software is a must, along with knowledge of structural detailing, material specifications, and structural member properties. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes is essential. Strong communication skills in English, effective problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently in a team environment are also crucial for this role.,
