Job Description

    You will be working as an Intermediate Consultant with Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU) operating independently with some assistance and guidance to deliver quality work products that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Your responsibilities will include participating as a Senior Technical team member in Development, Implementation, or Managed Service activity streams such as Migration, Integration, and Testing support. You will be involved in analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions for various business requirements, developing programs as per specifications/requirements, and ensuring quality code delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for timely reporting, submission of timesheets and expenses, and adhering to the defined Change Control Process and audit/compliance requirements of Oracle/Client.Your primary skills should include experience in end-to-end Development, Implementation, and Support activities, expertise in design, coding, testing, migrations, and integrations for Oracle FLEXCUBE/Core banking products. Proficiency in software programming languages such as Core Java, J2EE, Microservices, Springboot, JavaScript, XML, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database will be beneficial. Furthermore, you should have exposure to software deployment, troubleshooting on Application Server software like Oracle Weblogic, release management, source control tools, and client interaction skills. Good knowledge of banking terminologies, Microsoft Office tools, and excellent communication/documentation skills in English are essential.Desired secondary skills may include exposure to the Banking Domain, software development processes, DevOps tools, Testing tools, knowledge of Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, middleware like Oracle Fusion SOA Suite, and awareness of the latest technologies in Banking. You should have a Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent and possess 3 to 7 years of experience with 2 years in the primary skill areas related to development, implementation, or support of core banking applications.The work environment will require you to work offshore, travel to client locations, and be willing to take up Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE Technical certifications as required. You should be able to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving, and challenging environment, demonstrate teamwork, and be flexible to work on shifts based on project needs.
