Job Description

    As a Senior Network Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our complex network infrastructure. Your deep expertise in networking technologies will ensure the high availability, security, and optimal performance of our critical systems across on-premises and cloud environments. You will also mentor junior engineers and drive network-related initiatives. Here are your key responsibilities:- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions.- Develop high-level and low-level network designs (HLD/LLD) for projects.- Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.- Implement and configure network devices from leading vendors like Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet.- Execute network changes following established processes and best practices.- Oversee network upgrades, migrations, and troubleshoot complex incidents.- Utilize network monitoring tools to diagnose and resolve connectivity and performance issues.- Design, implement, and manage network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.- Ensure network security policies adhere to industry best practices and compliance requirements.- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation plans.- Monitor network performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.- Perform capacity planning and identify opportunities for network automation.- Develop and implement network automation scripts using tools like Python, Ansible, and Terraform.- Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and operational procedures.- Mentor junior network engineers and liaise with vendors and service providers for issue resolution.- Ensure network configurations comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 5 years of progressive experience in network engineering.- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching protocols, and QoS.- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade firewalls and network security technologies.- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting VPNs, load balancing solutions, and packet capture tools.- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages.- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.- Professional certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, JNCIP, or equivalent industry certifications.This job description is focused on your role as a Senior Network Engineer, highlighting your responsibilities and qualifications in ensuring the stability and security of our network infrastructure.,
