Job Description

    In this role, you will be responsible for solving complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and building automation to prevent problem recurrence. Your primary tasks will involve designing, writing, and deploying software to enhance the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Additionally, you will play a key role in designing and developing architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning will also be within your scope of responsibilities.Your responsibilities will include:- Collaborating with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on the shared full stack ownership of various services and technology areas.- Understanding the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and behavioral characteristics of production services.- Leading the design and delivery of the mission-critical stack with a focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance.- Serving as the authority for end-to-end performance and operability.- Partnering with development teams to define and implement improvements in service architecture.- Articulating technical characteristics of services and technology areas to guide Development Teams in enhancing the Oracle Cloud service portfolio.- Demonstrating a clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles.- Acting as the ultimate escalation point for complex or critical issues that have not yet been documented as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).- Utilizing a deep understanding of service topology and dependencies to troubleshoot issues and define mitigations.- Understanding and explaining the impact of product architecture decisions on distributed systems.- Cultivating a professional curiosity and a desire to develop a deep understanding of services and technologies.Qualifications required for this role:- Career Level: IC2About Us:Oracle, a world leader in cloud solutions, leverages cutting-edge technology to address current challenges effectively.
