Job Description

    As a Software Tester (Web), you will be responsible for demonstrating exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Your role will involve adopting a systematic approach to planning and testing, including writing test cases and test plans for projects. You will execute test cases/scripts and perform Regression testing, Functional testing, Unit testing, and System testing. Your creative skills in testing techniques will be utilized to log defects during the test execution phase.Furthermore, you will investigate potential defects and engage in discussions with developers, preparing reports on the same. Reporting progress of software testing to the Project Manager in accordance with schedules will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will ensure that testing standards are met by conducting reviews and providing support to the Operational teams.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Client-Server and Web-based application environments. A strong understanding of Testing Concepts, along with basic knowledge of SQL, is required. Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical skills is essential. Knowledge of Test Director or Quality Center will be considered an added advantage.Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal, is necessary for effective communication within the team.
