Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Senior Data Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience and expertise in Azure Synapse and deep Azure data engineering, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data technology and modern data platform solutions within the Azure environment. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with Data Architects, Presales Architects, and Cloud Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions, mentoring junior team members, and conducting research to stay updated with the latest industry trends. You will also be expected to develop and enforce best practices in data engineering and platform development.Key Responsibilities:- Designing and implementing data technology and modern data platform solutions within the Azure environment- Collaborating with Data Architects, Presales Architects, and Cloud Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions- Mentoring junior team members- Conducting research to stay updated with the latest industry trends- Developing and enforcing best practices in data engineering and platform developmentQualification Required:- Substantial experience in data engineering and Azure data services- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Proven experience working with diverse customers- Expertise in developing data pipelines, APIs, file formats, and databases- Familiarity with technologies such as Synapse, ADLS2, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Keyvault, and Azure Security- Experience with CI/CD practices, specifically within Azure DevOps, and agile delivery methods is preferredAdditional Details:This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad, India, with a hybrid work mode. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday during day shifts. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge data solutions, support various teams within the organization, and play a key role in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
