In this role, you will lead the design of innovative and intuitive interfaces across various platforms. Youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design user-friendly products and services, helping Kaushalams clients succeed in their digital transformation journeys.Key Responsibilities: Lead Design Strategy: Partner with product teams and clients to define project goals, drive user-focused solutions, and align design decisions with business objectives. Research & Discovery: Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Translate findings into impactful design strategies. Wireframes & Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and interaction models to visualize and communicate design concepts. Iterate based on user and stakeholder feedback. UI Design: Design engaging, accessible, and visually compelling user interfaces that work seamlessly across various devices and platforms. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other designers to ensure design feasibility and deliver a cohesive product experience. Design Systems & Patterns: Build and maintain scalable design systems to ensure consistency and reusability across products and platforms. Stakeholder Engagement: Present design concepts, prototypes, and UX strategies to clients and internal teams, articulating design decisions clearly and incorporating feedback. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and creative exploration within the design team. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest design trends, tools, and technologies. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance user experience and push the boundaries of design innovation.Qualifications & Skills: 3-12 years of experience in UI/UX design, interaction design, or a similar role, ideally in a digital product or design consultancy environment. Bachelors or masters degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or a related field. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing end-to-end digital products, focusing on innovative and user-centered solutions. Expert knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools. In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, information architecture, and accessibility standards (WCAG). Experience working closely with development teams and a good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Strong communication skills, able to present ideas and design rationale clearly and persuasively to clients and team members. Team player who thrives in collaborative environments, proactively receiving and providing constructive feedback. Proven experience in building and maintaining design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across digital touchpoints.
