Job Description

    We are seeking a Software Development Engineer 1 (SDE 1) with expertise in Python, Django, and PostgreSQL. You will work on building and maintaining software modules, collaborating with senior engineers, and ensuring high-quality code.Responsibilities: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Python and Django. Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop software modules. Debug and resolve issues in both backend and frontend code. Assist with the deployment process and troubleshoot deployment issues. Optimize database performance and assist with PostgreSQL schema design and queries. Follow best practices in code structure, naming conventions, and algorithms. Provide regular updates on task progress and communicate effectively with team members. Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver them on time with minimal oversight. Adhere to Agile processes, including participation in Sprint Planning and Reviews.Skills and Qualifications: Computer Science Degree Proficiency in Python and Django, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and functional programming concepts. Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning. Familiarity with frameworks like React.js and Next.js is an added advantage. Ability to assist in deployment processes and troubleshoot issues effectively. Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms, ensuring efficient problem-solving. Good communication skills to provide updates and clarify requirements with the team. Ability to take ownership of tasks, manage them independently, and deliver on time.
