Role Overview:As a Cloud Administrator (AWS), your role involves installing, supporting, and maintaining cloud/on-premise server infrastructure. You will be responsible for planning and responding to the performance and availability of services. It is essential to have working knowledge of Kubernetes, specifically handling Kubernetes clusters of Linux on AWS. Your duties may also include participating in calls, performing quality audits, building knowledge databases based on unique incidents, client engagement, and providing training to the team. You must demonstrate a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills.Key Responsibilities:- Answer technical queries via various communication channels such as phone, ticketing system, email, IM Chat, or on a rotational basis- Log all issues and resolutions, collaborating with senior desktop engineers and IT management for problem resolution- Communicate with users to explain issues, provide resolutions, update activities, or offer training on new equipment/software- Perform Linux Server administration and configuration for software upgrades and patches- Maintain system security and install/configure cloud infrastructure- Install and fine-tune virtual cloud instances and perform on-premise to cloud migration- Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, issues, and outages- Manage Kubernetes cluster creation, networking, service account, Node, and Pod Allocation- Implement Role-Based Access Control, Helm Chart, and Horizontal Pod Autoscaling in Kubernetes- Work on scheduled tasks/activities, ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls- Support cloud servers with security configuration, patching, and troubleshooting- Upgrade systems with new releases, monitor backups, and report monitoring- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies and build an internal wiki with technical documentation- Provide 24/7 on-call high-priority technical support as needed- Assist in maintaining an inventory of IT hardware and software assets- Escalate IT issues when necessary, keep users informed, and stay updated with system information and updates- Adhere to clients compliance and governance standards, contribute to the technical knowledge base, and participate in IT team meetings- Build professional relationships with colleagues, promote positive customer service attitude, and contribute to a positive work environmentQualifications and Experience:- 2 years of international experience in Configuration, management, and automation of cloud environments (AWS/Azure)- Additional 3 years of experience in Linux administration- Experience in managing Elastic Load Balancers, auto-scaling, Virtual Private Cloud, Routing, cloud database, IAM, ACM, SSM- Knowledge of Virtualization administration, Networking principles, full Cloud Lifecycle management, Provisioning, Automation, Security, Scripting, and multi-tier system administration- Experience in debugging Kubernetes failures, monitoring availability, performance, and charging, disaster recovery, backups, data integrity, access control, and change management process- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organizational abilities, time-management, and prioritization skills- Relevant certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Associate, Red Hat Certified System Administrator/Engineer, ITIL Knowledge- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline(Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.),
