Job Description

    You will be responsible for leading and ensuring the successful delivery of critical initiatives on the strategic roadmap. Your role as a Program Manager will require effective engagement across Engineering, Operations, and Product Management. You will need to collaborate in technical vernacular with engineers to resolve business blockers.- Take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable milestones to deliver against tight deadlines- Lead and facilitate project meetings, fostering collaboration among diverse teams, and provide clear direction for alignment- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints- Ensure that stated and unstated goals, business issues, concerns, and priorities are surfaced and understood- Work with engineers to determine feasibility, timelines, and design for project completion within planned deadlines- Generate comprehensive progress reports to keep stakeholders informed and make data-driven decisions- Identify continuous improvement opportunities within processes and implement strategies to drive themQualifications:- BS or MS in Computer Science, or any relevant technical field- 8 years of experience in technical program management, product management, or software engineering with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex technical projects- Strong technical background with experience in software development, system architecture, or SaaS. Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineers- Expertise in project/program management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, MS Project)- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Ability to work in ambiguity, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasksAbout UsAs a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrows technology to tackle todays challenges.
