Job Description

    The Ticketing Executive is responsible for managing ticketing operations for events, travel, or entertainment venues. This role involves handling ticket sales, customer inquiries, and providing information about events, travel itineraries, or venue details. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Ticket Sales and Reservations:
      • Process ticket sales and reservations through various channels (online, phone, in-person).
      • Assist customers with booking tickets and provide information on availability, pricing, and schedules.
      • Ensure accuracy in ticket issuance and booking details.
    2. Customer Service:
      • Respond to customer inquiries regarding ticketing issues, events, travel itineraries, or venue information.
      • Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
      • Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    3. Coordination and Communication:
      • Coordinate with event organizers, travel agents, or venue managers to ensure seamless ticketing operations.
      • Communicate any changes, cancellations, or updates to customers promptly.
      • Maintain clear and effective communication with other team members and departments.
    4. System Management:
      • Operate ticketing software and systems efficiently.
      • Ensure data accuracy and maintain up-to-date records of all transactions.
      • Troubleshoot any technical issues related to ticketing systems and report to the IT department if necessary.
    5. Reporting and Documentation:
      • Prepare and submit regular reports on ticket sales, customer inquiries, and other relevant metrics.
      • Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions and customer interactions.
      • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations related to ticketing.
    6. Promotional Activities:
      • Assist in promotional activities and campaigns to boost ticket sales.
      • Provide information on special offers, discounts, and loyalty programs to customers.
      • Participate in marketing initiatives and provide feedback to improve sales strategies.
    Qualifications:
    • Education:
      • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, hospitality, tourism, or a related field is a plus.
    • Experience:
      • Previous experience in ticketing, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Proficiency in using ticketing software and systems.
      • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Soft Skills:
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
      • Ability to work under pressure and handle high volumes of transactions.
      • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    Working Conditions:
    • Office or venue environment with standard working hours; may require evening, weekend, or holiday work depending on events or travel schedules.
    • Ability to handle long periods of standing if required for in-person ticket sales.
