Job Description

    Job Title: Trainee Software Test EngineerExperience Required: Fresher to 3 MonthsLocation: Ahmedabad (WFO)Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated Fresher in Software Testing to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will assist in validating software applications to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements. You will collaborate with developers and other team members to identify and document defects, execute test cases, and contribute to the overall quality assurance process. This position provides a great opportunity to learn and develop your skills in software testing while working on diverse projects in a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Understand application requirements from the functional specifications2. Create test cases, test scenarios, and test data for the complete test coverage3. Actively participate in walk-through of testing procedures4. Perform test execution in different test environments and maintain all test deliverables5. Ensure that all testing-related work is carried out as per the defined standards, procedures and schedule6. Collaborate with other team members7. Must be agile in his approach and ready to take up new challenges8. Ensure quality bug reporting, tracking and overall status reporting9. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and bug-free software deliveryRequirements:1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field2. Good communication and interpersonal skills3. Excellent troubleshooting skills4. Good organizational and problem-solving skills5. Should have a positive and learning attitude6. Good understanding of software testing concepts7. Should be good at documenting tests, test results and defects8. Basic knowledge of database concepts, SQL queries and API9. Strong knowledge of OOPS concepts, Java/Python/JavaScript Programming Language10. Hands-on experience in designing and writing programming scripts11.
