Job Description

    As a US Accounting Manager (Level 4) at iConsultera, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Your role will require strong leadership skills, expertise in NetSuite ERP, and a hands-on approach to financial management.In this role, your responsibilities will include overseeing the preparation of financial statements, accuracy in general ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliations in NetSuite, performing variance analysis, generating custom reports and dashboards to track financial performance. You will also review and supervise month-end and year-end closing activities, prepare BU packs with financial insights, ensure timely adjustments for prepaid expenses and accruals, and accurately record AP & AR transactions in NetSuite.Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with US federal, state, and local tax laws, assisting in tax filings and audits, working closely with external auditors, implementing and monitoring internal financial controls, optimizing NetSuite functionalities for financial reporting, automation, and workflow improvements, identifying process inefficiencies, troubleshooting NetSuite issues, and providing team leadership and stakeholder communication.To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, along with CA, CA Inter, or CPA qualification. You should have 4-6 years of experience in US accounting within the corporate/business sector, strong experience working with NetSuite ERP software, hands-on experience in AP, AR, financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting, and knowledge of US GAAP, taxation, and compliance regulations.You should also possess proficiency in NetSuite ERP, strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, leadership experience, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.,
