Job Description

    As a Customer Service Representative in this role, you will be responsible for providing various internal stakeholders with product, delivery, pricing, claims/returns, and program information. Your main duties will include managing orders, expediting orders and shipments, and ensuring accurate customer information is maintained. Your focus will be on delivering world-class customer service to contribute to the growth of the business.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage order sources, including site-specific mailboxes and customer portals, to obtain purchase orders.- Receive, review, and complete selected purchase orders (PO) and PO modifications in various ERP systems following defined processes.- Fulfill order requirements by verifying price and quantity, processing or loading orders in ERP systems with attention to detail.- Identify discrepancies and request amended POs as necessary.- Analyze, qualify, and complete change order requests promptly.- Expedite orders to prevent customer line-downs, processing emergency orders promptly.- Update sales orders to reflect corresponding purchase order dates.- Maintain accurate and organized order files and acknowledgments.- Communicate with external customers regarding order verification, status, pricing, and shipment promptly.- Coordinate with operations to verify lead times and schedule customer orders accordingly.- Archive purchase order sales order acknowledgments in a central repository for compliance.- Process orders and quotes in accordance with service-level agreements.Qualifications:- Graduate/Postgraduate- Minimum 3 years of experience in Customer Service, Call center atmosphere, or Materials-related field.Skills Required:- Data entry skills, including proofreading- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)- Good communication skills (Verbal/Written)- Keyboarding skills - typing and 10-key with a minimum speed of 35 WPM- Flexibility and ability to multitask- Mathematical and reasoning ability- Problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking- Ability to adapt quickly to change and manage urgent priorities successfully- Understanding of Eaton Business Excellence Award (EBEA) requirementsPlease note that compliance with relevant regulations and risk management associated with order management processes are crucial aspects of this role.
