Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for implementing a full stack software technology stack to support remote services. You will play a key role in the development and maintenance of Vertivs Cloud Platform, utilizing your expertise in Angular, .NET Core, Azure Cloud, web development, database, and messaging service technologies. Collaborating closely with a software architect/technical lead and other software engineers, you will contribute to the overall system design and development.Your key responsibilities will include:- Leading the design, development, debugging, and testing of the full stack software solution- Owning system features throughout the implementation process- Actively participating in the design and specification phase- Ensuring user interface implementation aligns with design principles and branding standards- Providing development estimates based on engineering specifications- Managing work efforts in a team environment- Developing prototypes and ensuring clear interfaces between software components- Adhering to coding standards and developing reusable components for common functionalityIn addition to your responsibilities, you will be expected to:- Identify and mitigate risks- Provide continuous improvement suggestions- Offer technical recommendations to various stakeholders- Adhere to software security principlesYour qualifications should include:- A degree in Computer Science or a related field- At least 5 years of software development experience- Expertise in web application design, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns- Troubleshooting skills and experience with technologies such as SOA, databases, and web services- Proficiency in Angular, .NET Core, JavaScript frameworks, and other relevant technologiesFurthermore, experience with agile development methodology, debugging, software security principles, creating engineering specifications, and test plans will be valuable. Familiarity with cloud development, containerization, IoT protocols, and knowledge of the data center and telecom industries are advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.This position offers a dynamic work environment as part of a geographically distributed (virtual) team. You will be required to work extensively on a computer, multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting, and meet multiple deadlines.
