AWS Solution Architect Consultant

Job Description

As an AWS Solution Architect Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions for clients. Your role will involve leading client conversations to understand their business needs, translating them into AWS solution architectures, and supporting pre-sales activities. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver value-driven solutions on AWS. Your key responsibilities will include:- Leading client conversations to identify business needs and translate them into AWS solution architectures.- Designing, implementing, and presenting AWS-based cloud solutions following industry best practices.- Supporting pre-sales activities including solution scoping, technical presentations, and proposal development.- Driving cloud migration and modernization strategies to AWS from on-premise or alternative cloud platforms.- Collaborating with development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployments.- Creating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.- Developing CI/CD pipelines and integrating DevOps practices into cloud delivery workflows.- Architecting scalable, secure, and resilient serverless and container-based applications (Lambda, ECS, EKS).- Conducting architecture reviews and applying AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to clients and internal teams.- Ensuring cloud solutions are optimized for cost, security, performance, and compliance.Qualifications Required:- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.- Hands-on experience architecting and deploying AWS cloud solutions.- In-depth knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, API Gateway, etc.- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform).- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Ansible).- Strong understanding of cloud security and governance best practices.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.- Experience working directly with customers in a technical consulting or pre-sales role.- Expertise in cloud cost optimization and monitoring strategies.- Experience with multi-account AWS environments and landing zone configurations.- Exposure to other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) is a plus.Please note that the job description does not contain any additional details about the company.
