Job Description

    Role Overview:As part of Avaloq, you will have the opportunity to work closely with leading financial institutions and contribute to orchestrating the financial ecosystem. Your role will involve collecting and managing spending requests, ensuring efficient information flow, supporting budget preparation, and optimizing workforce capacity to meet demand. You will be responsible for producing and distributing recurring and ad-hoc reports, coordinating inputs across teams, and maintaining an up-to-date resource repository.Key Responsibilities:- Collect and manage spending requests within the company tool, monitoring actual spending against budget- Ensure efficient information flow between the own division and other areas such as Finance and Vendor Management- Support the manager in budget preparation and forecast through accurate cost controlling- Produce, consolidate, and distribute recurring and ad-hoc reporting packs for stakeholders- Coordinate inputs across teams and continuously improve reporting templates and processes- Support planning, monitoring, and optimizing external and internal workforce capacity- Maintain an up-to-date external resource repository and provide regular capacity/status updates to stakeholdersQualifications:- Strong proficiency with Excel functions/formulas and related data analysis- Excel macro knowledge is a plus- Ability to use Power BI- Fluent in English- Previous professional experience in a banking operations/IT related environment- Capability to organize efficiently to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks- High sense of responsibility and resilience in a stressful environment- Team player with relational skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders- German language proficiency would be a plusCompany Culture:Avaloq values work-life balance and offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements to support its employees.
