As a seasoned software engineering leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic direction of our high-performance applications. Your responsibilities will include:- Leading the development of scalable applications using Java, Python, React.JS, Node.js, Angular, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure engineering priorities align with business objectives and strategic goals.- Driving innovation in payment domain solutions, focusing on security, scalability, and compliance.In addition to strategic leadership, you will be responsible for team management and development:- Building, mentoring, and leading high-performing engineering teams.- Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.- Establishing performance benchmarks and tracking team productivity.Your technical expertise will be crucial in architecting and implementing microservices-based applications, ensuring adherence to Agile/DevOps practices, and implementing best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.Furthermore, effective stakeholder and vendor management are essential aspects of this role:- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and operations.- Engaging with external vendors for resource and technology requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.As a leader in regulatory compliance and risk management, you will be responsible for ensuring technology solutions comply with regulatory standards and managing security risks effectively.Innovation and continuous improvement are key focus areas:- Staying updated with emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.- Identifying opportunities for process optimization, technology upgrades, and cost efficiency.Qualifications:- 12-15 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record in team leadership and stakeholder management.- Proven experience in developing and deploying applications in Java, Python, React.JS, Node.js, Angular, and managing MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.- Expertise in microservices architecture, AWS Cloud, and modern DevOps practices.- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the payment domain (e.g., RBI, PCI DSS).- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.- Strong ability to manage diverse teams and drive collaboration across functions.- Exceptional stakeholder management skills to align technical deliverables with business needs.- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., AWS, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master) are a plus.
