Job Description

    Role Overview:As an Embedded GUI Software Engineer at AGCO, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the embedded terminal display systems used in agricultural machinery. These smart terminals provide intuitive visual feedback to users such as farmers and dealers, enabling them to navigate machine functions, monitor performance, and interact with various vehicle systems in real time. Your role will contribute to a modular, cross-brand platform strategy, ensuring consistent functionality and user experience across multiple AGCO brands, product lines, and global markets. By developing scalable, user-centric solutions, you will enhance operational efficiency and machine usability in the field.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimize structured and object-oriented software in C using the Qt framework, QML, and JavaScript.- Create software for safety-critical control systems operating under real-time conditions on embedded Linux, utilizing modern development environments such as GitHub and CloudBees.- Develop, execute, and document module tests to ensure software quality.- Implement CAN bus communication protocols, including J1939 and UDS.- Manage product and brand variants efficiently to support multiple terminal configurations.- Create and maintain documentation in compliance with ISO 25119 functional safety standards.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent education.- More than 3 years of professional experience in the Terminal GUI domain.- Proven expertise in GUI development using the Qt framework, C, QML, and JavaScript.- Strong experience with CAN communication protocols, particularly J1939.- Strong understanding of embedded Linux systems and their software environment.- Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices.Additional Details:AGCO is a Great Place to Work Certified company that is committed to delivering an exceptional employee experience and fostering a positive workplace culture.
