As an Embedded GUI Software Engineer at AGCO, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the embedded terminal display systems used in our agricultural machinery. These smart terminals play a crucial role in providing intuitive visual feedback to users such as farmers and dealers, enabling them to navigate machine functions, monitor performance, and interact with various vehicle systems in real time.Your key responsibilities will include:- Developing and optimizing structured and object-oriented software in C using the Qt framework, QML, and JavaScript.- Creating software for safety-critical control systems operating under real-time conditions on embedded Linux, utilizing modern development environments such as GitHub and CloudBees.- Designing, executing, and documenting module tests to ensure software quality.- Implementing CAN bus communication protocols, including J1939 and UDS.- Efficiently managing product and brand variants to support multiple terminal configurations.- Creating and maintaining documentation in compliance with ISO 25119 functional safety standards.To qualify for this position, you should have:- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent education.- More than 3 years of professional experience in the Terminal GUI domain.- Proven expertise in GUI development using the Qt framework, C, QML, and JavaScript.- Strong experience with CAN communication protocols, particularly J1939.- A strong understanding of embedded Linux systems and their software environment.- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices.AGCO is committed to diversity, inclusion, and innovation.
