Job Description

    Role Overview:Vcheck is seeking a seasoned operations professional to serve as a trusted operational presence in the Pune office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the workplace and driving operational improvements to align with Vchecks global standards.Key Responsibilities:- Lead all aspects of daily office operations, setting high standards for efficiency, professionalism, and accountability in the Pune location- Manage office budgets and cost controls, track expenditures, identify savings opportunities, and provide regular financial reporting to leadership- Act as a reliable point of contact for employees regarding office needs, workplace concerns, and operational processes- Cultivate a professional, organized, and collaborative office environment that reflects Vchecks culture and values- Support leadership in maintaining operational standards and processes across departments- Mentor and guide junior team members, offering professional development support and problem-solving assistance- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement to ensure cost-effective service delivery- Coordinate with global teams to align Pune office operations with company-wide standards and initiatives- Develop, implement, and refine office policies and SOPs to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce operational friction- Oversee facilities management, including workspace planning, maintenance coordination, and health & safety complianceQualifications Required:- 8 years of experience in office management, operations management, or a related leadership role- Proven track record in managing office budgets, cost controls, and vendor negotiations- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior team members in a professional setting- Strong organizational and project management skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English- Experience working in a global or multi-location company with cross-functional collaboration- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational tools such as Slack, Asana, or similar- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a history of process improvement and cost reduction- Preferred experience in a fast-paced tech, startup, or professional services environmentAdditional Company Details:Vcheck is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment where employees are encouraged to excel and innovate.
