It is important to understand the threading limitations of Python and multi-process architecture. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stack. Your basic understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 will be beneficial. Understanding accessibility and security compliance is crucial, as well as knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments. You should understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application and be familiar with event-driven programming in Python. Knowing the differences between multiple delivery platforms and optimizing output accordingly is important, as well as being able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
