Senior Android Engineer - Java/Kotlin

Your role will require you to collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to build safe, scalable, and lifesaving technology.Key Responsibilities:- Develop full-stack medical device software with a focus on analysis and clinical documentation.- Design, code, and implement quality software within an Agile environment.- Ensure device interoperability and smooth integration with distributed clinical workflows.- Perform software unit, integration, and system testing.- Collaborate with UX designers and healthcare informatics engineers to translate system designs into functional software.- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in embedded platforms.Required Experience & Skills:- Experience: Minimum 5 years of industry experience in software development.- Primary Skills: Expert proficiency in Java and familiarity with Kotlin.- Architecture: Strong command over Android SDK, Jetpack Components, and modern patterns like MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.- Design Principles: Deep understanding of SOLID Principles and Object-Relational data access.- Tools: Proficiency in Git (GitHub/GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitrise).- Testing: Experience in automated testing, unit testing, and integration testing frameworks.Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):- Experience working in a Regulated Environment (Healthcare/Medical) following strict SDLC.- Familiarity with Android Security best practices (Encryption, Secure Storage).- Experience with RESTful APIs and performance profiling tools (Android Profiler).By joining us, you will get the opportunity to work on challenging, high-impact projects in the Healthcare domain and lead and collaborate with core engineering teams.
