Role Overview:As a Data Science Senior Analyst at our company, you will be a seasoned professional contributing to the development of new techniques and process improvements within the data science field. Your role will involve integrating subject matter expertise and industry knowledge to evaluate complex issues and provide strategic recommendations. You will play a significant role in influencing decisions and leading teams within the organization.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights, and make strategic recommendations- Mine and analyze data from various banking platforms to optimize processes and improve data quality- Build machine learning models (Random Forest, LightGBM, etc.) across multiple use cases- Perform exploratory data analysis, apply feature engineering techniques, and guide implementation and validation of solutions- Review ML model output results with business leads and explain the approach to less familiar teams- Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and recommend solutions- Lead system change process, provide user support, and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects- Drive communication between business leaders and IT, exchange complex information effectively- Appropriately assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulationsQualifications:- 5-8 years of experience in business and data analysis, process improvement, and project management- Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills- Methodical attention to detail and experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experienceAdditional Details:The Data Scientist in this role should be hands-on and proficient in various ML techniques, including Supervised, Unsupervised, NLP, and Deep Learning.Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the responsibilities.
