As a Senior Software Engineer in the Financial Messaging - Product Development department, your main role will involve taking part in the development and maintenance of a SAAS Platform. Your responsibilities will include:- Writing technical designs including conception, architecture, and data model- Developing and maintaining the platform through coding- Identifying and resolving incidentsKey Responsibilities:- Delight our customers by delivering high quality, bug-free software and respecting customer commitments- Assist operations with subject matter expertise when needed and provide expected effort to solve customer issues- Understand fully the Financial Messaging (FM) Strategy- Work together by actively participating in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies and providing transparent reporting to the team- Help other team members to achieve their commitments, share knowledge, and work closely with your team and other teams within Financial Messaging- Innovate by keeping in touch with the latest technologies, sharing ideas with the team and management, and proposing new development tools- Constantly improve by actively participating in retrospectives, proposing new processes, helping others, and asking for help when neededQualifications Required:- 5 years of experience in software development with a Masters or Bachelors Degree in computers science engineering- High understanding of all phases of SDLC, working with Agile methodology, multi-tier architecture, Web-based development, and Services Oriented Architecture- Strong understanding of RESTful services, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, client service, and communication skills in English and FrenchTechnical Skills Required:- Strong coding experience in backend technologies Java, especially Spring/SpringBoot framework, JPA- Solid experience in designing and developing with relational databases (Postgres) and SQL- Good knowledge of containerized platforms working with Docker and Kubernetes- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCDPreferred Skills:- Experience with CamelK, OAuth2, Message Brokers like ActiveMQ, SWIFT network/banking environment, and Open Banking- Rigorous, methodical, organized with the ability to work independently and within a team- Mastery in software engineering tools and experience with behavior-driven developmentAdditionally, the company welcomes talent at all career stages and is committed to creating an inclusive and open environment for everyone.
