Join us in advancing health optimization on a global scale as we care, connect, and grow together.**Primary Responsibilities:**- Stay updated on emerging technologies/industry trends and integrate them into operations and activities- Work with Open-Source Tools and Framework to develop large and complex components, influencing overall Data architecture and patterns- Influence team designs and solutions, mentor software engineers through code reviews and hands-on design sessions- Break down code reviews into reviewable chunks, provide guidance to team members, and explain implementation decisions effectively- Design thoughtful APIs, Data Structures, Data Models, Algorithms, and Application Sequences that are well integrated, testable, maintainable, and performant- Deliver solutions using appropriate toolsets for business constraints and conditions, identify refactor opportunities to reduce tech debt- Incorporate automation in testing, build, and deployment processes to enhance team efficiency- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize tasks and synthesize them into a quarterly roadmap for the platform- Comply with employment contract terms, company policies, and any directives related to work location, teams, policies, and work environment changes**Required Qualifications:**- 6 years of software development experience in Dot Net- 3 years of experience delivering solutions focusing on Angular/React and Python - AI/ML experience and automation- Proficiency in DevOps best practices in a cloud-native environment- Knowledge of technologies such as Dot Net, Angular/React, Databricks, Python for AI/ML, automation, Open-Source Tools and Framework, Azure Public Cloud, Git Actions, GitSonar- Solid understanding of product management principles, agile software development practices, and the role of product management in software platformsAt Optum, a part of UnitedHealth Group, we are committed to helping people live healthier lives and improving the health system for all individuals.
