In this role as a Sr. Principal Software Engineer at Mastercard, you will be a key player in the Corporate Solutions division, working towards empowering businesses globally through innovative and secure payment solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to lead teams in modern full-stack development practices to create top-notch microservices and web applications for a global business-to-business (B2B) technology platform. This platform aims to streamline payment processes for businesses of all sizes, enhancing efficiency for both buyers and sellers.Key Responsibilities:- Drive technical and process change across the organization- Build strong relationships with stakeholders for strategic results- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization- Analyze business and technical requirements to define strategies and roadmaps- Design architectural solutions for applications and data- Migrate on-premise applications and data to the public cloud- Integrate solutions with external parties- Lead diverse application and data engineering teams to achieve objectives- Thrive in fast-paced environments and handle changing scenarios effectively- Utilize various SQL and NoSQL persistence storage technologiesQualifications:- Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot application development- Experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing- Familiarity with ETL/Data pipelining- Knowledge of Typescript, Angular, and Frontend development- Expertise in cloud-based development and delivery- Understanding of resiliency-based patterns and practices- Ability in Service Development and Integration- Experience with Event and Command Messaging- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL data storage- Skill in contract-driven service development- Capability to lead and manage technical teams effectively- Strong communication skills for interaction across organizational levels- Ability to make sound judgments and think clearlyIt is worth noting that all activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks come with inherent risks, and therefore, you will be responsible for information security.
