Role Overview:As a Software Engineering Specialist at BT Business, you will play a crucial role in providing technology leadership for customer migration initiatives and new product launches aligned with BTs strategic technology stack. Your responsibilities will involve independently executing advanced engineering activities to deliver the engineering strategy and roadmap. You will partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders, lead teams to drive engineering excellence and innovation, and directly support BTs commercial objectives. Your role will be closely linked to BTs broader strategy of legacy platform consolidation and adoption of strategic systems to ensure long-term scalability and innovation.Key Responsibilities:- Define and maintain the long-term vision and roadmap for the ServiceNow platform in alignment with business and IT strategy.- Lead the evaluation and adoption of new ServiceNow modules and capabilities.- Drive platform innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experience and business outcomes.- Establish and enforce platform governance, development standards, and best practices.- Oversee platform architecture, data models, and integrations with enterprise systems.- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications Required:- ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD).- Coding Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST/SOAP APIs.- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow GDT, Playbook, GEN AI, Agentic AI, ITOM, CSM, ITSM, Risk Management, TMF compliant ServiceNow integration framework, Licensing model.- Solution Architecture: Develop solutions that fit within the enterprise architecture in terms of information architecture, system portfolios, and integration requirements.- Problem Solving: Demonstrate the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve problems by gathering necessary information, formulating and verifying hypotheses, determining root causes, and selecting and implementing appropriate solutions.Apply Now Role Overview:As a Software Engineering Specialist at BT Business, you will play a crucial role in providing technology leadership for customer migration initiatives and new product launches aligned with BTs strategic technology stack.
