Job Description

As a Staff Software Engineer at SailPoint, you will be a part of the Platform group responsible for providing the foundation for the cloud-based SaaS Identity Security Cloud solution. Your role will involve delivering efficient, maintainable, and robust Java or Golang based microservices. You will produce designs, rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements. Collaboration with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing will be essential, along with producing unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features.**Key Responsibilities:**- Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust Java or Golang based microservices.- Produce designs and rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements.- Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing.- Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features.**Qualifications Required:**- 8 years of professional software development experience.- Strong Java experience.- Comprehensive experience with an object-oriented programming language and techniques.- Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns for SaaS systems (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture, distributed systems).- Strong communications skills, including the ability to understand requirements and articulate technical solutions at the appropriate level of technical depth.- Independent, highly motivated engineer who drives work forward with minimal oversight.- BS in Computer Science, or a related field.**Additional Details:**SailPoint is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion.
