Job Description

As the Technical Team Lead with 612 years of experience, you will be responsible for guiding a high-performing engineering team, making architectural decisions, and ensuring the delivery of systems with accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:- Leading the engineering team in developing the COBRA platform, which manages complex eligibility rules, time-sensitive workflows, and regulatory triggers- Mentoring and growing engineers through coaching and structured feedback- Owning sprint planning, ensuring execution predictability, and maintaining delivery quality- Aligning engineering priorities with product and regulatory requirements- Identifying risks, technical gaps, and compliance impacts early on- Ensuring the long-term technical health of the COBRA platformIn terms of hands-on development and quality, you will:- Contribute to complex or high-risk components- Implement robust testing strategies and safe release practices- Balance delivery velocity with long-term sustainabilityFor logical design and regulatory modeling, you will:- Identify hidden edge cases and systemic risks through strong analytical reasoning- Lead root cause analysis and drive permanent fixes- Improve observability through logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting- Drive secure coding practices and data protection mechanisms- Ensure auditability, traceability, and data integrityYour expertise in backend & distributed systems should include:- C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core- API design, async programming, clean architecture, SOLID principles- Strong SQL expertise: schema design, indexing, query optimizationRegarding cloud & DevOps, you should have experience with:- Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus)- CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)In the frontend area, your skills should cover:- Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, component architecture)- Ability to review frontend architecture and debug cross-stack issues- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data privacy best practicesAs for your experience and expectations, you should have:- Approximately 6 years of professional software engineering experience- Experience in delivering scalable systems in regulated environments is preferredPlease note that this job is based in New Delhi, India, with a hybrid work model.
