Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager – Project SalesLocation: Delhi/NCR, Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana (Ambala/Karnal & Hisar), Punjab (Pathankot/Amritsar, Bathinda)Industry: Electricals / Consumer DurablesExperience: 3–8 years (B2B sales in electricals preferred)Qualification: Graduate (Preferred: Electrical/Engineering background)Key Responsibilities:1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify and engage with key B2B clients such as builders, contractors, panel builders, OEMs, and architects.
  • Build long-term client relationships with engineers and procurement heads.
  • Offer customized solutions in electrical products.
2. Sales & Business Development
  • Drive sales of electrical products: switches, switchgear, lighting, wires, fans, home automation, etc.
  • Deliver product presentations and demos.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and business KPIs.
3. Technical Support & Product Expertise
  • Provide end-to-end support: from product selection to installation assistance.
  • Stay updated on technical standards (IS, IEC) and product innovations.
  • Conduct site visits and resolve technical issues.
4. Market Analysis & Strategic Input
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Share insights to improve GTM (go-to-market) strategies.
  • Support in preparing forecasts and sales reports.
5. Cross-Department Coordination
  • Collaborate with logistics, finance, and customer support teams for smooth execution.
  • Follow up on invoicing and collections.
6. Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all proposals, contracts, and deals meet compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, client interactions, and documentation.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • Background in electricals or allied products.
  • B2B sales experience is a must.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
