Job Description

Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Supervise a team of technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring theirproductivity and adherence to quality standards.Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their technical skillsand overall performance.Workshop Management: Plan and organize the workflow in the workshop to optimizeefficiency and minimize downtime.Monitor the progress of repairs, ensuring timely completion and meeting promised deliverytimes to customers.Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality inspections of completed repairs to ensure workmeets safety standards and customer expectations.Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.Technical Expertise: Provide technical assistance to technicians when complex repairs ortroubleshooting is required.Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, repair methods, and industry bestpractices.Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to understand their vehicle concernsand requirements.Provide accurate repair estimates and explain recommended services to build trust andsatisfaction.Health and Safety: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations within theworkshop.Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, service history, and customerinteractions using digital systems or manual logs.Prepare reports on workshop performance, repairs completed, and team productivity.Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions to ensuretimely and accurate repairs.Troubleshoot challenges that arise during repairs or workflow disruptions.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities to improve workshop processes, enhance efficiency, and elevateservice quality.Collaborate with management to implement changes and initiatives.
