• Quality Control/Assurance: Develop, implement, and monitor quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) programs to ensure products meet both company and regulatory quality standards.
• Inspection & Testing: Conduct inspections, tests, and audits at various stages of production to identify defects or non-conformities in products or processes.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and recommend changes to enhance quality and efficiency. Implement corrective actions when needed.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, deviations, and corrective actions. Create and submit regular reports on quality metrics to management.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with industry-specific quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.), safety regulations, and other relevant codes. Stay up-to-date on changes in quality-related standards and regulations.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate product defects and performance issues to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
• Training & Support: Provide training and guidance to production teams, contractors, and other stakeholders on quality control and assurance procedures. Support teams in adhering to quality standards.
• Supplier Quality Management: Work closely with suppliers to ensure that raw materials or components meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Risk Management: Evaluate risks associated with product quality and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce defects and enhance product reliability.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing new tools, techniques, and processes for higher quality outcomes.
