Job Description

    As a Security Operations Center Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security posture of the company by utilizing your process and technical knowledge in various security tools. Your key responsibilities will include:- Having process knowledge and technical expertise in SIEM tools such as Qradar, LogRhythm, AlienVault, Splunk, etc. L2/L3 level proficiency is an added advantage.- Demonstrating proficiency in AV tools like Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro, etc. L2/L3 level expertise is an added advantage.- Managing Vulnerability tools and implementing remediation efforts effectively.- Reviewing security logs from applications, devices, and systems, taking necessary actions, or escalating to appropriate teams.- Enforcing incident response service level agreements.- Collaborating with the global IT Security team to assess, test, and recommend tools for enhancing the companys security posture.- Generating and maintaining operational reports to provide IT management with insights into current and historical IT security risks.- Participating in cyber security meetings, controls, compliance discussions, and assisting in documentation-related tasks.- Staying informed about the latest IT security trends and contributing to the organizations security planning.- Developing security standards and best practices, recommending security enhancements to management or senior IT staff.- Documenting security breaches, assessing their impact, and performing other assigned duties.Additionally, you should uphold the companys core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork, and adhere to the Code of Ethics and Conduct. It is essential to report any quality problems or defects to your manager or senior management promptly to facilitate corrective actions and prevent recurrences. Duties may be adjusted to meet business needs.Qualifications:- B. Tech, B.E, or M.C.A degree- 2-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center- Minimum 2 years of experience in the computer industry- Proficiency in working with complex Windows environments- Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO27001- Expertise in designing and administering security tools- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
